            The Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Vishaka and others vs. State of Rajasthan and others, laid down certain guidelines and norms to be observed to prevent sexual harassment of women employees at their work places. Accordingly, CCS (Conduct) Rules 1964 have been amended time to time by the Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training vide their Notification No.11013/10/97-Estt. (A) dated 13.2.1998 which are applicable to Officers/Staff of Vice-President’s Secretariat.

          Pursuant to the above directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, a three member Complaints Committee for redressal of complaints of sexual harassment of women employees in Vice-President’s Secretariat has been constituted. The Committee shall comprise the following members:

  1. Smt. Hurbi Shakeel, Section Officer                   Chairperson
  2. Shri Pawan Singh Bisht, Section Officer              Member
  3. Ex-officio Member

  4. Smt. Amita Gaur,
    Jr. Clerk, Rajya Sabha Sectt.                              Member
